10.20.0 - Google Drive downloads in Data History and load fixes

What's new

Google Drive downloads in Data History

Saved payloads in Data History can now be written to Google Drive. The Google Drive option appears in the download modal next to Excel, CSV, and JSON, both from the row action menu in the history table and from the Download button in the detail modal. Picking it opens the Drive folder picker and uploads the records as a CSV. Google Drive downloads are a Pro feature on the web app and are available to everyone on the desktop app and the browser extension.

Mass updates stop when Salesforce closes the bulk job

When Salesforce closes or aborts a bulk job partway through a mass update, every batch sent after that point is rejected with the Job is not Open. Update Records used to keep posting the remaining batches and report each rejection separately. It now stops on the first fatal bulk error and lists the records in the unsent batches as processing errors, so the results still account for every record. Load Records already behaved this way, and both now share the same list of fatal errors.

Large permission exports to Excel

Exporting from Manage Permissions to Excel failed with Too many properties to enumerate when the selection produced a very wide field permissions sheet, and no file was written. All four worksheets are now built in a format that has no such limit.

Paste into data table filter boxes

A data table claims paste and navigation keys for whichever cell has focus, which meant a text input rendered inside a cell never received them. Pasting into the Field column filter in Manage Permissions did nothing, and the arrow keys moved the table selection instead of the caret. Text inputs inside a cell now handle their own keys. Escape still returns focus to the table so cell navigation resumes.

Other fixes

  • Jetstream is now listed on the Salesforce AppExchange, which means it has passed the Salesforce Security Review. The home page and the security documentation cover what that review and the SOC 2 Type II audit each include.
